These images bring back so many memories. At the time I was working with a lot of traditional clients and I craved a project infusing a fresh contemporary aesthetic. My client was a makeup artist and her husband was a computer programmer. The space had to be ready for selling and doggy friendly. Heavily practicing feng shui and minimalism, I wanted to embrace clean design elements to what used to be a red and orange, black leather seating, busy interior. I painted cool tones to open up the space along with accenting the layout with subtle zen-ful charms and soft natural textiles. I even found a map of my client's home town in Sweden to hang near the dining area over an eye sore of an electrical box. Needless to say the transformation added a cool peaceful, calming, fresh perspective to their day to day lives. The perfect easy breezy space that's market ready! Xo pB
